You are right, the current setup is not correct - even for both Avian and Rapier. What really needs to happen is that the physics updates are only done in fixed updates, and then the render is interpolated. I want to correct this in #54, I think it would be a decently nontrivial fix. |

I don't think this is as intended? Though it perhaps shows that avian is running the physics at a lower refresh rate than the screen.
Rapier displays without jitter, but the jitter on avian is really quite poor without this setting enabled.
